Christmas

1.       Christmas- as it is commonly known it is an annual festival commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ, observed primarily on December 25 as a religious and cultural celebration among billions of people around the world and also among our “Friends”.

This festivity may be seen in:

Christmas elements in “Friends”:

• giving presents

• collecting a donation for the poor on Christmas

• singing Christmas carols

• special food (sweet potato pie, gingerbread, mashed potato, apple pie)

• raising money by selling boxes of cookies during Christmas

• decorating the rooms, houses with Christmas decorations (stars, Santa Clause, balls, fairy lights)
